Darden-Perry Academy is a proposed tuition-free Dual Language Public Charter School where all students will learn through English and American Sign Language in a schoolwide framework designed to strengthen communication, collaboration, academic growth, and meaningful connections.

Darden-Perry Academy is a proposed tuition-free, year-round public charter school planning to open in Wilmington, North Carolina, in July 2027. The Academy will begin with grades K–8 and add one grade level each year until serving grades K–12, pending charter approval.
Through our schoolwide Dual-Language Framework in English and American Sign Language, all students will have opportunities to strengthen communication, academic achievement, critical thinking, cultural awareness, leadership, and collaboration.
